Positive: We (family with 4 and 2-year-old) had a fantastic experience at Kate's cottage. Johnny had the turf fire lit on our arrival along with beautiful scones. The cottage is located down a country road approximately 15mins from Westport. We couldn’t have asked for a better base to enjoy our holiday. Thanks again Johnny for making us feel so welcome.

Positive: Beautiful cosy cottage in a remote and quiet location. From arrival, I felt the warm welcome. Little touches like a personalised welcome sign in the entrance hall, a turf fire lit for me and essentials of milk butter and juice in the fridge added to the experience. Johnny had the fire lit every evening when I came back from touring around. And had a great guide to nearby attractions Cost was in line with what I would expect to pay.
Negative: Personally I loved everything, I was driving so had my own transport available, but the location is remote so may not suit those without their own transport. That said they did have a local taxi number available for those who need.

Positive: Clean, comfortable, warm and spacious. Fresh scones on arrival . Johnny our host was super friendly, welcoming and helpful and looked after us at all times. Location is a very peaceful spot in the country.
Negative: Nothing. All good.
Summary: Loved every minute of our stay in this cottage and would recommend it to anyone wanting a great experience.

Positive: A beautiful, newly renovated cottage in an idyllic location. We were greeted by the owner and his family who live next to the propery. There was a peat fire burning, home made scones and plenty of food and drink on hand before we had time to shop. Johnny, the owner, lit the fire for us each evening and a the whole family were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, suggesting places to visit and making us feel very welcome.
Negative: Inadequate directions to the property by Sykes. The owners had to meet us and guide us there.
