Positive: The stay was perfect. Starting by the food which was incredible delicious, over to an amazing staff which were super kind, carrying and attention to the customers needs. The place itself is very quite and very unique. We absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

Negative: The stay was way too short.

Summary: It was just perfect ! Love to come back ! And thanks again to the whole staff.

Positive: This place on Sumba is truly unlike anywhere else I have ever been. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat on a remote island with incredibly kind locals, this is the perfect spot. Secluded does not mean lacking in service—the host made sure everything was well provided. Delicious breakfasts are served by the friendly staff, and you can also order lunches and dinners to your villa, all of which are of excellent quality. The island itself has surprisingly good roads, so you can rent a practically new scooter on-site and enjoy exploring the entire island while taking in stunning views. The host is exceptionally warm and makes you feel at home from the very first moment. And if you still need to work while away, each villa is equipped with reliable Wi-Fi. A hidden gem on a hidden island—I can’t recommend it enough.

Positive: The breakfast was excellent. Overall, the experience at the villa was amazing. The villas were very modern and well appointed. The staff really takes care of you at this villa. You are steps away from a private beach with very few people (if any) which is quite the opposite of Bali. The staff brought out a beach chair and a table. I had cocktails on the beach. Staff provided me with snorkeling gear and water shoes as well. I arrived late at night and the staff made sure I had dinner within an hour or so of my arrival. Talk with the staff! They are amazing people and enjoy what they do. My only regret is that I wish I could have stayed longer! You won't regret it!

Positive: We stayed for 10 days and wished we could have stayed longer! We had a beautiful villa with an amazing pool and loads of activities for our kids. The owner and all the staff were unbelievably warm and friendly -- we truly felt like we were welcomed in by family! We enjoyed the natural beauty of the region, taking a hike to a waterfall and spending time at the beach. We also took part in a traditional dancing & cleansing ceremony with the local natives and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives (and we travel a lot...). Overall, this is a special place run by a group of truly special people. We plan to be back!
