Positive: The bed and the pillows were comfortable. The restaurant was accommodating of dietary preferences. The bathroom was big. The view from the pool was wonderful, and I am really running out of compliments.

Negative: I have been in Bali for a long time, and I know things operate a bit differently here. I generally expect everything to be slower, but I didn't expect that I'd have to prompt them on everything - and that included check-in, check-out, food ordering, and having a hot shower running in the room - ah, pretty much everything. I don't expect to be waited on, but at least provide what you say you will provide. I rarely encounter poor service that makes me feel the need to leave a review, which I don't like (there is a lot of poor service). I can see that this place is definitely understaffed, so I have sympathy for all the shortcomings. Perhaps they are really trying to provide a service, but there's no service, and, actually, the service is worse than no service. Yet, it's one thing to be understaffed. It's another to have poor communication & hospitality skills. There wasn't hot water in the shower, but I only stayed for a night, so it wasn't a big deal to take a quick cold shower. Still, you don't tell your guest someone is coming to fix the shower, and there's no news until 40 minutes later. There are obviously other empty rooms where you could give us the option to move rooms, but you didn't. And you didn't give us the full details until 2 hours after we reported there was no hot water (at 9 pm). You said you're waiting for "my response," but I am not obligated to stay up waiting for you to fix something. I don't know if it's going to get fixed. I come to relax. Not to correspond all night because you fail to have a hot shower running. Communication skills have little to do with being understaffed, and you simply don't tell people there is someone at reception when the same person is actually working in the kitchen, a 5-minute walk away. You don't tell someone somebody is coming to get your order in the room when nobody is coming.

Summary: Obviously, no hot shower in the water and the inefficiency to make adjustments is the last straw.

Positive: This villa is unique in terms of its location. The overall design is conducive for a long family stay. The kitchen serves good food. The breakfast for the family was ready as requested.

Negative: The frequent power cuts and wifi interruptions were annoying. But one can live without internet when staying at a place like this. The bathrooms are basic and have issues (the bathroom sink was backing up).

Summary: A nice villa that has a lot to offer to a nature lover if one can overlook minor inconveniences.

Positive: The view from the pool is good. Breakfasts were nice.

Negative: The bungalows are very rustic, small and quite dirty. There is a lot of mud everywhere, even around the pool. The bathroom was very bad. We booked 4 nights, but only stayed 2 nights. The cockerels started at 4.15 am! There was also sweeping outside at 7 am. We couldn't sleep much because of so much noise in the morning.. There is nothing nearby and no online taxis, so getting a car was expensive.

Positive: Amazing view, well put together accommodation

Negative: They are giving small plastic bottles in the room. The laundry service uses softener which is toxic for the environment. The breakfast staff were not very attentive on the Sunday. They were also slow and not communicative about wait time.
