Positive: The room altho basic had a comfy bed & air con. The owner was so lovely & helpful & she served me the most wonderful home cooked breakfast.

Negative: No where comfortable to sit - but then I'm not as young as I was!

Positive: The owner was absolutely lovely and she welcomed us with delicious fresh fruit juice, and made a delicious breakfast for us. The room had good aircon. The location was very convenient and it felt safe.

Positive: The homestay is located a short walk from the main beach which is great and close to lots of restaurants. Placed on a side street it was also very quiet. The two morning breakfasts were really nicely prepared and tasty. The room was comfortable with nice cold AC (we were on the second floor) and a ceiling fan. WiFi worked well. We had a late day flight and they allowed us to leave our backpacks for the day which was great. Overall a great place for a couple of nights.

Negative: The pool is connected to the property across the street and the homestay provides a "coupon" to present to the hotel. The pool in my opinion isn't very clean and there are very few loungers to use. The shower didn't have hot water.

Positive: Thank you so much to the hostess of Angels Negombo for your hospitality and kindness! The breakfasts were excellent — the best out of the nine places we stayed during our trip. The terrace is incredibly beautiful and cozy. Special thanks to the hostess and her son for welcoming us at night after a long and exhausting flight. They were very polite and friendly :) During our stay, we truly felt at home. The bed and the air conditioning in the room were also excellent. The beach and a street with cafés and restaurants are within walking distance. We were able to park our car in the yard, which was very convenient. It was interesting to learn that the hostess’s son was a finalist on The Voice. He is a wonderful singer :) Thank you very much! Hope we can come back to see you again!

Negative: At night, the dog that lives in the house may bark, which could wake light sleepers.
