The rooms are comfortable and elegant.The pool & sauna area was a relaxing experience.The dinner was delicious & the service impeccable (Thank you Troy for the beautiful table at the fireplace). Excellent breakfast (no buffet, served at your table) in an excellent setting.The location is a short drive (2.5km) into the vineyard grounds of Vrede & Lust, not in Franschhoek town.A hidden gem!

Positive: We’ve had an absolutely incredible stay at Angala, truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. It’s located a bit outside the city, but we actually saw that as a positive — the atmosphere was wonderfully calm and relaxing. Troy made our stay absolutely perfect with his 10/10 service and friendliness, and Cerene was also so lovely, serving us a delicious breakfast every morning. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know.

Positive: Angala is a hidden gem. This was our second time staying & I think it’ll become an annual treat. We had an incredible dinner, Troye looked after us so well. Just perfect. The rooms are divine, beds so comfy you never want to leave. The views, gardens, pools & setting are just dreamy.
