Summary: From the moment we arrived we knew we'd found a little piece of heaven. The welcome could not have been more friendly and accommodating, the design and quality and maintenance of the buildings is immaculate. It sits in a tranquil area where the only sounds are the wind and wildlife. But the single thing that stands out the most and made our stay so special and memorable was the kindness, attentiveness, friendliness and superb service from all the staff. Even the gardeners waved a friendly "good morning" each day! Special mention needs to go to Cerene and Nicky who was absolutely superb, but the shining star was Troye. He did not miss a trick and his general knowledge and wonderfully warm personality were the best we've experienced. He's definitely found his calling in hospitality. Angala was everything we were looking for and more and we will most definitely be back. Thanks to everyone for giving us such a wonderful and memorable stay.

Summary: The hotel is too far from anything to eat or shop and also is very hard and expensive to get transportation to go anywhere. You cannot repeat the breakfast and everything is charged apart, even the water. The reception does not work 24h and you are completely distant of anything if you need.

The tranquil setting, surrounded by nature, offers a natural pool (complete with frogs), a treated pool, a hot tub, and both wet and dry saunas. The gardens and balcony provide the perfect space to relax and take in the serene views. It’s wonderfully secluded, offering peace and quiet, away from any distractions. For improvement, I’d suggest addressing the internet connectivity, which was the only letdown during our stay. However, this small issue didn’t diminish the overall experience, which was exceptional. Highly recommended for those seeking relaxation in a beautiful, private setting.

Summary: Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Comfortable, large bedroom with fantastic amenities. The only disappointment we had was the restrictive catering options. Breakfast was acceptable but not varied. Dinner was served only at 7:30pm and there was a set three course menu each night with only one option. We felt there ought to be a choice of three per evening. The gardens, pools and rooms were stunning.
