Summary: We stayed one night while on a roadtrip. We were quite surprised when we were charged 55tl each for the buffet supper. After living in Turkey for 1 year, we are accustomed to 'yabancı' (foreigner) pricing. Further, we had phoned the hotel directly earlier to confirm whether 4 adults could stay in one room. This telephone conversation lead to an understanding that supper was included (but website did not state this.) Two of our group who speak Turkish went to ask management if the 55tl price was charged to everyone. While the front desk employees tried to deal with our concern, the manager came along. (She had come into the restaurant earlier and was aware of our presence.) She told her employees (in Turkish) to stop wasting their time on the foreigners and to help the Turkish guests. She was shocked when one of our group responded to her in Turkish. The manager continued to be rude and unprofessional and ruined our stay. On a positive note, the employees we dealt with were all pleasant and helpful. The food was simple, but tasty.
