Positive: Thank you so much for hosting. I had a wonderful time! I haven't slept as well as I did in this cave in years. Everything was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The exceptional host provided instructions on my arrival about using the fan to make my stay as pleasant as possible. He was very caring, asking how I was and if I needed anything. He reacted immediately when I needed his help early in the morning, and was there within a few minutes. Great location, the city center is only a 15-minute walk, and a 4-minute walk is the Kafeneio Reisis, where the tasty, flavorful, delectable, heavenly food is.

Positive: The cave was lovely - a really unique and comfortable place to stay in a perfect location for getting to both the central area of town (15 min walk to the Archaeological museum) and also the ferry port. Super easy communication with the lovely host and accessed by a lockbox code so we could be self sufficient.

Negative: We would have loved some mugs for a cup of tea!

Positive: All I can say is a huge thank you to my host Lefteris who (literally) went the extra mile to make my stay in this most comfy cave such a memorable and nourishing time.. ....such a welcome change to the usual run of the mill s/c city apartment! Within easy walking distance of all centre amenities, port and public transport tours. Would thoroughly recommend.

Negative: Almost nothing........just short of a cup!

Positive: We got lost because the Google Maps location was totally off. Leftesis rang us and somehow managed to find us and took us to the accommodation. After a lot of stress, the Cave room was stunning. The facilities are excellent, and Leftesis was a superb host. We were a short walk 15 mins to the ferry, which was great as we had an early morning check-in for Santorini. This is a little jewel on Heraklion, and I can't recommend it highly enough. My wife loved it.

Negative: Not many restaurants nearby.. or at least we couldn't find many. Im sure if we had had more time, we could've found something better than the McDonald's.

Positive: The cave was fantastic! Me and my girlfriend had and an amazing experience, the cave was awesome and also kept cool at night so sleeping was great. The location is perfect as it's an easy 15 minute walk into the center of heraklion. Very quiet neighborhood with an excellent restaurant only 5 minute walk away. They were very helpful and pleasant to deal with
