Positive: Extremely friendly staff and people in town in general. Spacious clean rooms, comfy beds, well kept and maintained in all areas.

Negative: The “music business”’across the road played music all day and ALL NIGHT on the weekends and you heard their base even through earplugs

Positive: What a gem! Rooms are basic, rustic but completely fine - a bit of a throwback to the 'hut by the beach' idea of the '70s. The restaurant is right on the beach which is stunning. Walk into the water and there is coral, fish and warm water. This was an real find, perfect to unwind and relax. We only stayed 2 nights and wish we'd stayed a week.

Negative: Nothing really. Because it's 8 km out of town you are restricted to using their restaurant, but it is not expensive and has a range of food and drink.

Positive: Friendly staff with excellent recommendations! Prices are all negotiated with locals so you get away to a very fair budget compared to other resorts nearby and the quality stays on top! Direct access to the beach with free equipment and canoe to your disposal if you want to explore the underwater life just a few meter from the beach with corals, clown fish, moray eels. Perfect place to take a rest and enjoy the authenticity of Maumere surroundings.

Negative: Sadly on the whole island the WiFi is always quite low.
