No direct beach access but only a five minute walk through a secluded forest trail to quiet beach with flourishing tide pools and protected seabird habitat. Depending on season beach below is has colonies of brown pelicans, blue herons, sea gulls , plovers and sand pipers.
Only a 5-10 minute drive to Nye Beach, historic Newport Bayfront and Newport aquarium. One mile walk to Yaquina light house state park and interpretive center. Great outside porch overlooking the Pacific ocean with built in seating and custom benches. Hot tub with ocean views in secluded location.

Summary: Our stay at the Amazing Ocean View was everything we hoped for. We stayed 5 nights and didn’t want to leave. Amy’s home has a wonderful lived in quality. The landscaping provides privacy and beauty. The hot tub was a bonus. We found everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. And There was a lovely welcoming basket of goodies. We would stay there again. *would recommend luggage racks, being ‘older’ it’s hard when luggage is on the floor.

Summary: The house is as described and the host was very responsive. She made the check-in and check-out seemless. I can't say enough about the view! This place is truly a gem! Would definitely recommend staying here and I hope to again!

Summary: The location of this home was breathtaking with crashing waves and and a great view of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. We found it hard to leave this hideaway to explore the surrounding areas. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The communication from owner was excellent and the beautiful gardens added so much to its charm. It was nicely decorated with lots of special touches. It was very hard to leave and hope to return some day.
