Positive: The location was excellent just a few minutes’ walk to Princes Street. The neighbourhood was very quiet yet felt completely safe, which we really appreciated. Both check-in and check-out were smooth and straightforward, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveller, beautifully decorated, and had a cosy, homey feel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Overall, a lovely experience and a place I would definitely return to.

Negative: Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like, the stay exceeded my expectations.

Positive: Very comfortable, airy, clean room within an easy walk to Grassmarket cafes & everything on the Royal Mile. Finally good pillows! Cathy & mother were very friendly & helpful.

Negative: Suggestion— better towels. Everything else was very upscale, but towels weren’t same quality as other bedding.

Summary: Lovely, upscale guest house with friendly owners & beautifully appointed rooms in convenient neighborhood.

Positive: Great location and spacious rooms with en-suite. Can easily walk everywhere with lots of great restaurants nearby! The hosts were very kind.

Negative: The fan in the bathroom stays on longer after you switch off the light.
