Positive: A calm and empty beach with crystal clear water and really nice rooms with everything you need. The location is pretty distant but with a TukTuk you are in 15 min in Nilaveli at the market for about 500-700 Rupees, so no problem. We liked the silence at the Amanta Beach very much and we explicitly seached for a hotel like this. Best of all is the staff. Really wonderful people that try to fulfill every single wish you might have. They are extremely kind and hospitable. The chef creates delicious meals with a lot of love. If you want an oasis of serenity with excellent food and drinks, an empty beach, clean rooms and awesome people, this is the place.

Positive: -En comparaison de ce qu'on peut trouver au Sri Lanka qui est pourtant déjà très bien, cet hôtel est un bijou. Il est au dessus du lot par l'attention portée à chaque détail dans la décoration et l'agencement. -Le patio de la chambre avec douche et lits extérieurs. -Le restaurant est lui aussi mémorable avec un chef propriétaire qui semble se donner beaucoup de mal pour se singulariser.

Positive: Amanta Beach is one of those rare places where you immediately slow down. Beautiful, peaceful and set on an almost empty stretch of beach, it feels wonderfully removed from everything. The room was extremely comfortable, the dinners were delicious, and every small detail seemed to have been thought through and taken care of. A genuinely special place that was very hard to leave.

Positive: The property was a beautiful and fully maintained. The entrance to the looked a little run down compared to the rest of the property, but other than that it was perfect.

Positive: Beautiful location pretty much on the beach. Verry quite beach also , service is exquisite More like a boutique hotel verry nice and clean. Felt like Royalty
Negative: Little expansive compared to the other hotels but we upgrade to this one beceaus of a bad experience in another one. Worth the money for sure.

Positive: The hotel is stunning, it feels very luxurious for a reasonable price for european standards. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially the manager Shyakthi. We ended up staying 2 more nights. The biggest highlight was the private beach, we were there alone most of the time and the sea is perfect for swimming. The beach is equipped with sun beds and a shower. The hotel offers 4 course dinner for 7000 rupees per person and ayurvedic massage for 35 dollars. It is the perfect place if you want to relax in a beach resort.
Negative: The location is very remote, which might or might not be a downside. There are no restaurants nearby. If you're looking to discover the Trincomalee area, try to stay in town, or you can get a tuk tuk for around 2500 rupees one way (30 mins), or take the bus. The dinner and other services provided are pricy for Sri Lanka.
