Summary: The house is very spacious and comfortable with everything one might need being provided. It is near a pub and shop but the village is very quiet though with easy access to the Lakes. There are good walks nearby and quiet lanes perfect for cycling. Most importantly for us, dogs are made very welcome - our four had a wonderful time, as did their six adults. Summary: Beautiful house within grounds of Greystoke Castle. The owners Nevill and Moira really friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable . Large rooms .Well equipped. Clean. All bedrooms en-suite and option to have either double or twin beds is a real bonus. Dog friendly. Real fire. Very good location. Excellent village pub 50m away and only afew miles from Ullswater
