Summary: Fantastic 4 poster bedroom with large lounge area adjoining. Spotlessly clean with excellent facilities. Breakfast was faultless. Thank you Hazel and Ian, Stafford house is a credit to you and will have no hesitation recommending Stafford House to our friends and family.

Summary: This is a lovely place to stay. Our host was very helpful and the room was beautiful. An added bonus was acess to the lounge next to our room.

Summary: This place is amazing. Super quality accommodation, a beautiful house and garden and the hosts are just so caring with fabulous attention to detail. I’m surprised it didn’t cost a lot more to stay but I think the hosts just want guests to enjoy their experience

Summary: Friendly and accessible hosts who made us feel very welcome. Lovely place, full of character and charm. Fantastic breakfast with loads of choice..remember to bring an empty stomach to the table!! Thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief stay and hope to be able to return for a bit longer next time. Summary: Such an amazing property. On the grounds of Greystoke Castle. Built in the 1840's and restored to be historically accurate. Any renovations overseen by a local group. The hostess is friendly, accommodating and shared so much information about the property and painstaking restoration. My wife said "This is the best breakfast we have had." And my wife loves a good breakfast. A great place to end our visit to the Lake District.

Summary: The welcome I received from Stafford house was second to none.The house and gardens are perfect ,as to the breakfast -ten out of ten(not trying the amazing porridge at Stafford house ,would be like visiting Paris and not seeing the eiffel tower)!
