Positive: Centrally located and in proximity to the train station and an underground car park. Spacious room (the deluxe studio is in a separate building two minutes away from the hotel). Comfortable large bed.

Negative: There is no possibility to open the windows and to get fresh air into the room and in absence of a real air circulation and cooling.systeam this isn't ideal during the summer season.

Positive: The staff was very friendly, good location, and the breakfast was very good. It was a wonderful stay.

Negative: A table and chair were missing in the room. Would be good to have it.

Negative: Staff/Guests keep chatting in front of the room doors in tge morning. Due to poor isolation, it can be annoying if you plan to have a long morning sleep.

Positive: We stayed at the Alex Maastricht because we came to see the Andre Rieu show (which was also amazing) so the location was perfect, as it was close to the station, in a quiet spot with a nice view. The room was lovely - clean, fresh and modern, with a comfy bed and pillows. There were thoughtful extras and a coffee pod machine with brownies as a treat. The dinner was superb! The little touches such as free snacks and delicious bread made us feel spoilt and the food was exceptional. Staff were friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome.

Negative: There was nothing that we didn't like. I think the only recommendation would be for the breakfast to have a couple of options added to it. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, but not quite as good as the dinner the night before which was amazing!

Summary: WE WILL BE BACK! WE LOVED IT :)
