Summary: 19yr Anniversary trip-Stay was very nice, dining options were good, a lot of grassy stuff would wash up on the beach every night but would be cleaned first thing in the morning. For the price it was a great value which is why we stayed here due to the budget. We were not disappointed would of been happy to stay more days if we could have. If you want a good seat by the water or cabana u will have to get up super early to claim them with your belongings. Seemed like people where up at 5 am and we weren’t doing that on vacation lol.

Summary: This is an outstanding resort we enjoyed immensely. The setting on the beach of Akumal Bay is spectacular and the extraordinarily comfortable rooms are truly “ocean front.” The staff is remarkably accommodating and the “vibe” is totally “chill.” Food was absolutely first-rate. We now consider Akumal Bay BC our favorite spot on the Riviera Maya and will be back soon.
