Adorable studio home. At 460 ft.² this unique one room cottage has a bed area nook with a queen bed. The bathroom is a separate room. Home cleverly decorated to create separate living spaces. A TV area with comfy seating, a kitchen island dining area, a well appointed kitchen and even a sit-or-stand laptop work space. Hardwood floor throughout.
Perfect bungalow for a single, couple, or small family. In addition to the queen bed, the living area has a double size sofa bed.
Confirmed bookings will receive a link to a beautiful digital guidebook full of house information and local things to do.
Walking distance to many great shops and restaurants in downtown Milford.
Kayaks available for guest use seasonally. Liability waiver must be signed, it will be emailed to you upon request. Kayaks will be secured unless waiver is requested and signed. Life vests provided and must be present on kayak per Michigan law. use caution at the water's edge, there is some old dock debris in the water.
**No parties or events** This is strictly enforced.
*No smoking, indoors, of any kind includes tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes, vaping and hookah. Smoking outside is ok, there is a can provided for proper ash and butt disposal.

Summary: We needed a place to stay near our daughter's home in Milford and there are no hotels closeby. We found this great little property that is just right for 2 people. It is a short walk to Downtown Milford and all it has to offer. The property is an interesting rebuild from an existing building and leans toward the "tiny house" mindset but not actually tiny. The property owners are very friendly and caring and checked on us a via text message a couple of times. I would definitely recommend this property.

Summary: Perfect cozy cottage for me, the hubby and fur baby. Loved the short walk to downtown Milford when visiting our daughter and grandson, and the large yard was great for the dog. We would love to stay here again the next time we visit Milford.

Summary: This was our second stay and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. We love the location on the river and the short walk to downtown Milford. Our host, Amy, answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We even enjoyed watching the trains go by.

Summary: From the moment we arrived at the cottage we were enchanted. Beautiful sprawling back yard extends to the Huron river and provides the perfect backdrop to your stay. Amy is a great host, and has clear guides for everything you might need. A great night out can be just a walk downtown for dinner and then a trip to Central Park where you can explore trails or just sit by the river. Quick access to both the Ann Arbor and Detroit metro areas for day trips also make for some fun plans. In conclusion, we'll be staying here again! 5⭐

Summary: I chose this location because it was close to home, but far enough away to feel like a vacation. The proximity to Kensington - bike trails. Access to the Huron River for kayaking, and downtown Milford a few steps away, for a meal and a cocktail. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION even the train coming thru randomly was a welcome. Being able to bring my dog was a huge bonus. A cure and quaint 'tiny house" had everything I needed. Amy was a very responsive and wonderful host.

Summary: We loved the location on the Huron river and the ability to walk to downtown Milford. Our Host Amy answered all of our questions quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. Being able to bring our small dog was a plus too. We will stay here again on future visits.

Summary: I'll let you read the listing, for all the details… This place is described really accurately. Everything about it was great – fabulous mattress, well laid out kitchen, and gorgeous bathroom. When I asked Amy to lend me a blender, she showed up with a Vita-mix! I spent a lot of time sitting down by the river, watching ducks, geese, herons, & swans. (They hadn't had any rain in three weeks, so the river was too low for me to put the kayak in.) I had been doing a lot of driving, before I got there, so I was really happy to not get in my car until the fifth day of my stay, (when I had an event about an hour away.) I was able to walk about 15 minutes to planet fitness; and about 10 minutes into the little town, which has a variety of restaurants and that kind of thing.… Also, since I was there on my own, I appreciated that I felt like I was in the country, but neighbors were not too far away. I would definitely look forward to staying there in the future, if I am in that area, again.

Summary: First of all, what a gorgeous VRBO! We both marveled at the time and effort it must have taken to create such a comfortable and eye pleasing getaway. The interior decor was perfect. Best VRBO I've ever seen. Thank you so much! She and I are now together again, and we'll never forget the first weekend of our new relationship.
