Newly built garden lodge, in lovely Dorset with many top reviews. An Ideal base in the heart of Dorset to relax & explore from. Great beaches, attractions & pubs all around. 1st bedroom has a king-size bed, 2nd bedroom has bunk beds, & then we have a pull out sofa bed for the fifth & sixth guest in the lounge, then a z-bed for guest number seven, both bedrooms have their own en-suite shower & toilet. Outside patio, private HOT TUB, breakfast bar, off road parking, lovely sun terrace, what a great place to ‘Hideout’ !

Summary: The property is set in a beautiful location in the Dorset Downs on a hillside with views of the countryside from your doorstep where the hot tub is located. We enjoyed eating our dinner on the veranda each evening and also drinks on the terrace at the top of the garden which was a great little sun trap. Jason our host was very welcoming, there was everything that we needed in the property and it was very clean. The property is in the perfect location to explore Dorset and we went to Lulworth Cove & Durdle Dor, Portland and Chesil Beach and also a hill top walk from West Bay to Seatown during our stay. We would definitely come back again, we had the most perfect holiday!

Summary: Cannot fault the property or the owners, who were very helpful, sending useful information to us prior to our stay so we could book meals etc in advance. Plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around and hottub (whilst a bit small for all 4 of us to fit in at once) was a nice extra. No bbq but owners happy for you to bring your own and whilst there were a few things missing from the kitchen in terms of cooking equipment the owners happily brought us anything we needed from theIr own accommodation. The property is in a quiet location and you do need a car to get about. Only downside is that most of the beaches close by seemed to be shingle rather than sand. Our kids prefer sand so we travelled a bit further to reach these but still a good base for day trips further east (eg Bournemouth, Poole).

Summary: This is a very new, modern place to stay, which is decorated and equipped to a high spec, and includes a hot tub and outside seating area under shelter, perfect to relax in the evenings. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Well equipped kitchen area and 2 good sized shower rooms. This is located in a quiet area just off the A35 between Dorchester and Bridport, and is in a good position to travel around the county. Jason and his family were excellent hosts, giving good advice on places to visit and made us feel very welcome.

Summary: Jason and Rebecca were superb owners right from the moment that we booked, to the moment that we left. They sent us helpful recommendations for places to eat, which we used and were delighted with. The property was spotless and had all the amenities needed for a week away. It was a lovely setting with views over the garden and adjoining fields. We would mainly go out to the beaches or go walking in the morning, returning late afternoon to relax on the terrace, watch the birdlife and use the spa. It's an ideal base for the energetic and the non energetic alike. The attention to detail and the thoughtful touches are what made it stand out for us.

Summary: Lovely secluded property in the heart of the Dorset countryside. Great links to Weymouth, West Bay (Broadchurch)!! Bridport, Lyme Regis. Jason was a brilliant host, recommending local pubs and walks. The hot tub is a very welcome experience after a long coastal walk and the accommodation perfect for relaxing in the sun or escaping the weather!! Would highly recommend.
