Here is a retreat in the woods directly on a small lake! Come relax in this calm, stylish apartment on the entire first floor of a family home. Grab a canoe and go fishing, or take a swim right off the dock then head to the hot tub. Peep our plentiful resident PNW birds and wildlife including bald eagles, ospreys and herons.
This is a space to relax! With two fireplaces, a hot tub, and an unencumbered view of the lake and surrounding trees, this private guest suite will let you soak up the luxury and refresh from daily life. The circular floorplan offers a large and fully-stocked kitchen, luxury custom-designed bathroom with laundry machines, quiet sleeping area with fireplace and super-comfy bed, living room with fireplace, dedicated work station, and a sitting area to maximize the beautiful view of the lake below. Catch up on reading, roll out a yoga mat, or just take a well-deserved nap - here is a place to indulge in comfort while retaining the amenities of work-from-home and daily life.
The lake is stocked with fish each year, and is a private and highly-acclaimed location for fishing. It's not uncommon to see a bald eagle catching fish too! Summary: Our stay began with a warm greeting and assistance carrying our luggage down the steep hill, a hill that indeed had quite the incline, but was easy to navigate with the switchback trail. Dont let the hill scare you! Its not long at all. The view is amazing. Its such a quiet area. The space is so large. The shower is fantastic. The hot tub was great. It was nice to spend an afternoon floating on the little lake on the paddle board. This place is a gem.

Summary: This unit is beautiful! The walk down from the parking area is just as steep as described but in my mind I wasn’t really prepared for it. Pack light! If you are working remotely you may want your air pods to block out the noise from above. Again, it is mentioned in the listing but there is a family with kiddos above you. The hosts were very responsive to questions.
