Summary: Bishopsgate is a lovely home from home. Superbly clean which was reassuring, especially in this time of Covid-19. Very well equipped, I took tea towels, dishcloths, kitchen roll, toilet paper etc with me but there was no need as it is all there. Very good communication with Ian, the owner, who was very helpful. To top it all, there was a fab welcome pack which included lovely goodies for us on arrival, including wine, a cream tea, chocolates and biscuits. There is plenty of garden space to enjoy too. Summary: We were pleasantly surprised when walking into this property, it completely lived up to the photos and more. It was spotlessly clean, and so warm and inviting. It was lovely to come back to after a cold day out, always so warm and inviting. It had everything you would need , even though we ate out every day, after all we were on holiday. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again

Summary: We had a lovely week at Bishopsgate, the accommodation and location are excellent. If it was possible to score more than 10 then I would as Bishopsgate is that good. It was lovely to be greeted on arrival by the owner who showed us around and recommended places to go and restaurants to try, the welcome hamper was lovely treat. Wellswood is a delightful village which has everything you require, including a deli which has a café serving excellent breakfasts. only 10 minute walk from the house. The owners Ian & BJ and the poodles were fantastic hosts and everything was perfect. Would highly recommend Bishopsgate as a super place to spend a relaxing holiday. To echo a previous review,Thankyou Bishopsgate.

Summary: We had a wonderful 10 nights at Bishopsgate, for the time of year (November) it was a lovely warm cosy house to come back to. We made the most of public transport to visit numerous places around Torquay. We had the best host you could imagine, who was so kind and helpful. We were left a wonderful hamper of goodies too. We wouldn’t hesitate in returning to Bishopsgate .
