Positive: Comfortable house. Nice garden. Lovely location. Well equipped kitchen. Property at pleasant temperature. Plenty of hot water. Easily accommodated 12 people. Responsive owner.

Negative: Parking a bit tight for 5 cars!

Positive: Really nice house. The kitchen was great - spacious and well equipped, with more than enough seating and crockery for a big group. The beds were very comfy and the location was nice and secluded - a short walk away from the village. The owner was helpful with our questions and there was enough parking for 4 (small) cars.

Negative: We paid extra for the hottub but it took so long to warm up that we only got to use it for one night, which was a little disappointing. Quite a lot of rules / potential extra charges to watch out for. Such as making sure the bins and recycling were less than half full - but when we arrived they were already full.

Positive: Gorgeous house, very close to Bath for things to do (we went to the botanical gardens and to Bath Pizza Co in the evening), lovely kitchen with lots of utensils and pans so easy to make a big meal for 14 of us. Hot tub was great even in the snow! I loved the window in the kitchen looking out onto the grass amphitheatre.

Negative: The info stated no towels which is fine, but we didn’t prepare for no bath mats! Having this listed would’ve been really helpful, as the bathroom floor was really wet and we didn’t have any spare towels. Booking also lists more bathrooms than there actually were. We also wished the shared upstairs shower had a holder for the shower head that was high up, so we didn’t have to hold it.
