My name is Rosemary, I'm the owner and host of 52 Clichy, an award-winning Bed & Breakfast apartment ranked in the Top 5 of all properties in Central Paris. I've lived in France for over 20 years and have created a warm, welcoming environment within the smart, comfortable top floor apartment that I'm looking forward to sharing with you.
The Bed & Breakfast that is shared with me is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, my part is separated from yours and we share the large living space. Whilst the other space is a bedroom, sofa bed and 1.5 bathrooms.
Together we can share a bottle of wine in the evening and chat about your adventures and each morning share a delicious breakfast, on the balcony or at the dining table, prepared for you at whatever time you want – 5am if your departure flight is early or late if jet-lag hits…!
Breakfast : Each morning it will be different, you will be served a plate of fruits and always 5 different choices of freshly baked breads and pastries from the amazing bakery we are lucky to have not more than 20 metres from our door, Maison Landemaine. There will also be home-made yogurt and a choice of honeys and homemade jams. The coffee will arrive in a French press, your chosen tea in my amazing teapot and hot chocolate and organic fruit juices. All manner of dietary requirements can also be catered for including a coeliac, gluten-free or vegan breakfast if I have a little warning.
Breakfast is also when we can chat about your plans for the day, if you need suggestions on how best to fit everything in, a great restaurant for when you emerge starving from a museum, a walking itinerary, the best way to get to the Eiffel Tower or a day trip out of Paris, or perhaps just chatting about how you can best 'live like a local'.
Beds : the super-kingsize bed is super-comfortable as the 10cm/4″ deep mattress topper is made of goose down. Reviews confirm that people don’t want to get out ! When twin beds are needed the beds are pushed against each wall which offers more space in which to move around.
Everywhere there are lots of shelves and wardrobe hanging space if you want to unpack rather than live out of a suitcase and the ensuite bathroom includes a full bath with shower over it. In France toilets are separate.
Your private space is comfortable but it is not often where you will spend your time, the advantage of the B&B is that everything you see in the photos is yours to use and enjoy, the luxury of an apartment with the added advantage of sharing with me - private concierge / tour planner as your host !
I’m English so you don’t need to worry about speaking French unless you want to but having lived in Paris for 20 years let me show you how to live like a local and experience the real Paris. I even have a (really long) Guide you can download to Living Like a Local!

Summary: The location was perfect! A perfect triangle to reach all the major sites in Paris. Rosemary was a great host helping us learn about France and instructing us on navigating around the area,even before our trip which made us feel comfortable right away. It was so great to always have fresh breakfast and some fun chats every morning. We left with amazing stories of our adventures, a new perspective on the history of Montmartre and some new places to add onto our list next time. Every morning, we would tell Rosemary our plans and she would tell us the best route, rather if it was the fastest, the most scenic or if just for a leisurely stroll. She really made us feel at home and hope to return in the future. I highly recommend her VRBO for your next visit to Paris. We hope she finds the hippo soon! Take care- Marci beaucoup!

Summary: Great location. Easy walk to Metro, buses, taxis and therefore everything of interest in Paris. many good restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. We appreciated Rosemary's suggestions on our planned activities and her advice on the best travel options was invaluable. Consequently we have had a wonderful week in Paris so we would thoroughly recommend 52 Clichy.

Summary: Super comfortable bed! Fantastic BnB hostess! Great location - close to metro and buses, 30 min walk to Louvre. 15 min walk to Palais Garnier Opera house. Lots of great local restaurants. Fresh croissants, bread, pastries, fruit and yogurt with coffee and juice every morning on the terrace (if warm enough).

Summary: Rosemary is an extremely nice, informative, and generous host. I highly recommend staying at this VRBO if you want to learn about the French culture. This apartment is located in a great location. Last but not least breakfast is yummy.

Summary: I stayed at 52 Clichy for 2 nights during my 2 week solo travel of Europe. The 3 days/2 nights at 52 Clichy were my most relaxing and stress free days of the entire trip. Rosemary does a superb job at making her guests feel right at home. Each morning started with breakfast on the balcony which was the highlight of each day. Rosemary sets the balcony table with a spread of pastries, fresh fruits, and beverages that is a perfect start to a day of exploration. Guests also have the option of joining Rosemary on the trip to the local bakery in the morning (highly recommended) to pick out which pastries you'd like. On these walks Rosemary taught me so much about Paris and the neighborhood she lives in as well as giving me advice on where to go for the day. Overall this was one of the most pleasant Airbnb-type stays I've ever had and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Paris.

Summary: Never having stayed at a B&B we didn’t know what to expect, Rosemary made us feel welcomed from the start. The bed was super comfortable and the place is very clean. Only to be topped off with a fabulous breakfast every morning. We planed exploring Paris by foot and we were able to walk to all the major attractions from this location. But the absolute highlight has been meeting and sharing conversation with Rosemary over coffee or a glass of wine.
