Positive: We loved the gite how clean and it had everything you needed,the host was very helpful.

Negative: The only draw back was there was no shops,cafe restaurant or bars near by,you have to drive to everything.

Positive: Francoise and John Luc were very friendly and helpful. The Gite was perfectly located for our quiet rural Autumn break with the real experience of French life which we like.

Negative: It was well equipped for our needs, comfortable and perfectly located for us. We do not need TV as a means of entertainment. We did have Wi Fi although we don’t take laptops on holiday.

Summary: We were able to completely relax in an area we know and loce.

Positive: Beautiful traditional French gite. Home from home , has everything you could ever want facilities wise. In a lovely location on a farm. Supermarket and the town of Albert 10 minutes in car . Ideally located for visiting all the sites in the Somme area. Lovely hosts. Would definitely stay again.

Positive: I had a plan to walk solo this area of the Somme . Perfect for what I wanted. Secure parking offered in a barn for my motorcycle although the village was so quiet and peaceful it probably wasn't needed. Easy walk on quiet lanes to La Boiselle crater, Fricourt and Mametz and other points of interest from the Somme battle. Spacious , well equipped accomodation. Dishwasher, good wifi, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Lovely , friendly hosts . I will use this place again.

Negative: Nothing really. It was fine. A local shop would have been useful but big supermarkets in Albert not far away.

Summary: Perfect for what I wanted. Really nice , friendly owner.

Positive: We had a lovely stay and enjoyed being in the countryside after weeks of big cities. You will need to have a vehicle to stay here, as there is no public transit nearby. Very close to Beaumont-Hamel and many other WWI memorials.
