Summary: While planning our visit to Vancouver, our original idea was to find a place right in the heart of the city. However, this lovely place in Upper Lonsdale caught my eye, and I couldn’t resist booking it. I’m so happy that I did! It is spacious, comfortable, and the property is magical! You are surrounded by trees and there is a small stream running right through the yard. For families with children, there is a great park right down the street. I loved being in a neighborhood yet having easy access to the city. It took us about 20 minutes to reach any destination in downtown Vancouver by car, and we also parked at Lonsdale Quay and took the Sea Bus which is a 12 minute ride. We also loved exploring North Vancouver and it’s great shops and restaurants, and liked the easy access to the Sea to Sky Highway to visit Whistler. The host is very accommodating and responsive, we needed a coffee grinder and one appeared at our doorstep within hours! We would stay again without hesitation.

Summary: Thank you Missah and Shirin for being such exceptional hosts. Your home is very comfortable, spacious and the photographs capture it perfectly. Nice private driveway. I would recommend this home as a top booking for families traveling with children. We took day trips in Vancouver to the markets, breweries, ferry trip to Victoria to see the Empress Hotel and Fisherman's Wharf, Stanley Park for the totem poles and then returned to the peace & quiet of our home to cook and unwind and watched the grandchildren flee to the yard and stream to play. (The little kitty cat was a bonus for them!) You couldn't do that in a vacation hotel or condo! I would make 3 personal comments to our gracious hosts and do so out of respect for them and future guests. The kitchen skillets should be replaced and a few more utensils, glasses/dishes would be nice. There is no disposal!! Second, the master bed with bath has a jacuzzi tub with 2 tile landings before entering tub. They were slippery and not great for seniors getting in and out. Caution there! Finally we did discover the house rules in the dining room 2 days in. Perhaps better left on the kitchen counter so not to miss it. All in all, we made the right choice for our vacation destination to this home. We've already referred friends and will hope to revisit the next time we travel to Canada. Outstanding property!!!

Summary: Excellent place to stay. Bright, clean and well appointed home on a quiet street on the north shore. Lovely outdoor seating areas and easy to use barbecue. Only caveat is there are a number of stairs to access the property. If that’s not an issue, would recommend this home highly.

Summary: Our 4-night stay at this clean, well-appointed, centrally-located property for our son’s wedding weekend couldn’t have been more perfect. The hosts were lovely to meet and generously gifted us a bottle of wine for our celebration. It was the ideal spot for our family to gather. We couldn’t have asked for more. Great place, great hosts.

Summary: The 3 bed / 2 bath house is conveniently located in Upper Lonsdale - with filtered views of the harbour, Stanley Park and downtown skyline. The elevated position provides 2 decks for morning and afternoon sun and the bountiful skylights make the house light and bright (unusual for most homes in Vancouver). The bus stop at the front door was very convenient as was the on-site parking. Massih was a gracious hostess and the house was well stocked and impeccably clean - perfect size for families of 4-6 people. The tempurpedic mattress in the master bedroom was super comfortable and the neighbourhood was very quiet, but within a few minutes drive of the shops and services further down Lonsdale Avenue. Easy access to the freeway for getting around (although traffic moves very slowly in Vancouver these days with increased development - the price you pay for a global city "vibe"). We'll definitely stay here again.

Summary: We had a group of 8 adults and there was plenty of room with 2 sleeping on the living room sofas. The house was beautiful, clean, well equipped, and had everything you could ever need except washcloths. We bought a quick pack of wash cloths at the local Walmart and were all set. The owners were great at communication, so kind, and was very easy to work with. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent here again. Just fabulous!!
