Summary: Neighborhood not so good. This house and most houses on this street need grass cut. House next door had trash all over the yard. Sign was hanging down in front. The Wine theme was over done. T

Summary: The cottage was nice, clean and well equipped. It’s is in a great location for your visit to the Elkin area and all the wineries that are around that area. Restaurants are close by and it is a quiet neighborhood.

Summary: Our group really enjoyed the proximity to downtown Elkin. We ate at Southern on Main, delicious, and it was only 2 or 3 minutes away from the house. We visited 4 wineries - Dynamis, Piccone, Christian Paul, and Elkin Creek and I think they were all within a 10 minute drive. The owners have added several details that our group appreciated - plenty of places to charge a phone, multiple towel hooks, remote controls for the ceiling fans, fully stocked kitchen. Our only minor complaint is that the yard service came while we were there and I wish we were warned beforehand...not a big deal just something annoying.

Summary: Booked for a guys weekend to do our fantasy football draft and drink some wine. House was great. Beds were very comfortable and they had plenty of wine glasses (have stayed ither places without wine glasses). Spent time on the patio and hosts told us they are working on adding a sitting area to the backyard...we would book again.
