Summary: We stayed at this vrbo for a weekend and invited our close family for a celebratory dinner following our wedding. It is a beautiful property and the home is set up with everything you need to feel at home (but magnitudes more gorgeous than a typical home!). We particularly enjoyed the large screened-in patio and fire table, which made a great place to gather and spend time taking in the amazing scenery. Summary: This beautiful property is located on a meadow on top of a hill. It is near a farm with cattle grazing by the small road once you get thru the woods on the way up. The master and one other bedroom was on the first floor which was helpful. There is a huge covered back porch with a grill and some seating on the back of the house looking out toward the hills. It was a perfect place to just hang out, play games and watch movies. The house is spacious and beautiful! The kitchen is extremely well stocked. For our stay it was decorated for Christmas which made it feel even more special! Be sure to stop for groceries on the way in. Elkin Vine Lines will pick up at this location for an extra fee for a private wine tour if you arrange it ahead of time or you can take advantage of their Hop on/Hop off transportation from downtown Elkin. We recommend eating at Southern on Main in downtown Elkin and exploring the shops.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in this spacious, yet cozy and welcoming home. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. I would highly recommend staying here if you're interested in going to nearby wineries, exploring Elkin and surrounding areas, or just relaxing for a few days by the firepit with the beautiful sounds of nature surrounding you.
