Being Grade II listed, the cottage is full of original features and charms, including exposed beams, uneven floors upstairs, low windows and sloping ceilings. The three well-appointed bedrooms provide all guests with a good night’s sleep, whilst the downstairs bathroom gives the option of a relaxing soak in the freestanding bath or a quick hot shower before heading out for the day.

The local dog-friendly pub, almost on the doorstep is within staggering distance of Porthkerry, situated just across the road, and for a special meal, why not try the Michelin Star restaurant in Whatcote, just a mile away? Nearby Tysoe has a shop selling local produce and wine on tap. There is also a great walk up to Tysoe windmill with its wonderful views over the Cotswolds. There are many lovely country and village walks right from the doorstep so you can spend time enjoying the countryside or exploring many of the nearby attractions.

The village of Oxhill lies in the rolling countryside of south Warwickshire, close to the border of Oxfordshire and the north Cotswolds in the area known as the Vale of the Red Horse. For more outdoor fun, head to Burton Dassett Hills, the perfect country park for walks, flying a kite or eating a picnic whilst admiring the views of rolling hills and open countryside. Also, a similar distance is Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick with its famous castle, and a little further Bicester Village, famous for its shopping village.
