Summary: A really lovely cottage, one of the best we have stayed in. Beautifully furnished , very well equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches. Very warm and cosy for a winter stay. Camilla and Tim made us very welcome, and were very attentive hosts. The Wi-Fi is a little patchy, but that is down to the rural location. We would happily stay here again.

Summary: Arrived at the Owl House for a Christmas break and it did not dissapoint. We had a warm welcome from Camilla and found flowers, treats and Christmas decorations awaiting us which were much appreciated. Warm and cosy with a log fire for those chilly days. Summary: Absolutely amazing place! Even nicer than the photos show, very spacious in all of the rooms. We went with our two children, 2 and 3 months and was great for them. Lovely open plan downstairs but with lots of room it really flows from lounge to dining area and kitchen. Upstairs the main bedroom and twin bedroom are very spacious, leaving plenty of room for travel cot. Bathroom abs on suite are both nice and modern. House is lovely and warm with under floor heating. Beautiful views from the all the windows and garden. Nicely tucked away somehow both in the middle of nowhere but also only short distance from everywhere we wanted to visit! Summary: We had a wonderful stay at The Owl House in August during what was an exceptionally hot week! My husband booked this to celebrate 10 years together and what a perfect way to celebrate. The Owl House is stunning and set in such a beautiful location. It is well equipped for a young family and very child friendly. We managed to enjoy a couple of sunsets in the garden with a glass of red - on the rare evening our children settled to sleep! We enjoyed quality family time together without the normal daily interruptions. We were greeted by Camilla who was very welcoming and friendly - along with Mojo who was a delight. Our son particularly enjoyed playing in the garden on the trampoline and the swing. Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful place with us - its a holiday we will cherish forever.
