Summary: Spacious converted barn. All we needed for a week away. Despite both having developed colds before our arrival we made the most of the comfort offered. Bit off the beaten track but perfect for peace and quiet

Summary: A very nice, well equipped barn conversion in a great location. Very easy to reach from main A30. Good on-site parking. Very friendly owner lives next door. Some good pubs close by and well located for beaches and other attractions. Hidden Valley Park was particularly good and with 15 mins. We only gave an overall rating of 9 rather than 10 simply because the lighting in kitchen a little bit dark but this apart the cottage was perfect. Plenty of space in all the rooms. Would definitely recommend. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: A lovely, comfortable barn conversion, so peaceful to return to after busy days out on the coast. We did not find the drive to the coast to be difficult or too far. A very helpful and welcoming owner as well. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: Lovely cottage. In a rural location, but really lovely. Geoff is a great host and very welcoming and knowledgable. We really enjoyed our stay. Kids were happy with great WiFi. Property has lots of space, nice big front room and spacious kitchen with nice dining area. Amazing gardens. Lots of games, dvds, books etc and good tv etc. It’s a very old building so that needs to be understood, but it has great character and we really enjoyed ourselves. Two bathrooms was also a big help in a family of 6. It’s only 10 minutes by car to Launceston which has everything. Recommend the Red Hat Cafe and the Chinese takeaway next door. There’s also a great game/comic book store worth popping into and a huge Tesco. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: The Linhay was a great choice for us as we attended a wedding at nearby Tregulland. The countryside is very quiet around the accommodation—a car is absolutely required. It's just 10 minutes drive to Launceston for all amenities, a half hour drive to the sea, and a few miles drive to an excellent pub, The Rising Sun. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the host's homemade scones. Our hosts were on-site and very pleasant to deal with. We find Home Away a somewhat slower process than direct-to-owner communication, ergo rating property manager only "good."

Summary: The Linhay is a converted barn, created about 20 years ago, with another similar one adjacent. The very friendly & helpful owners live next door, & nothing is any trouble for them. However, it is situated in a small hamlet about 3 miles from Launceston along narrow country lanes, which are not safe to walk or cycle along, especially for city dwellers. You MUST be prepared to drive to shops, restaurants & local facilities, the closest pub/restaurant is the excellent, fine dining, Rising Sun about 2-3 miles away. Having said this, there is plenty to see & do close by (4-8 miles), & fabulous countryside & coastline locations within easy reach. The Linhay comfortably sleeps 6, (but if a sofa bed was added in the lounge, 8 would be possible.
