**No swimming from the property, as the lake is weedy. But excellent canoeing and stand up paddle boarding. There are beaches close by for swimming.
Only 10 minutes from the charming village of Westport, this cottage with laundry is a perfect peaceful oasis.
The cozy cottage was recently renovated, with artisanal beams, craft tiling and a warm wood stove. Heronview cottage has all the conveniences of home along with a wood burning fireplace, baseboard heating, and heated tile floor in the bathroom.
Enjoy the silence of the woods in winter and try to spot the local wildlife including deer, swans and beavers. In summer, be lulled to sleep by the sounds of crickets, frogs and the beautiful call of the Loon.
The cottage is on approximately 2.5 acres of land that's shared with the main house. It has a separate fire pit and dock for relaxing, or stand up paddle boarding and canoeing!
It's located off a maintained road and is approximately 50 feet from the main house.

Summary: Beautiful property and impeccably clean. It's a shame that the weather didn't really cooperate for the weekend that we were there, but we still enjoyed ourselves immensely. Very well appointed cottage with everything you could possibly ever want or need for a weekend getaway. I would highly recommend it.

Summary: The propery is located on a cute little property. While it's not very private and close to the road. It is a beautiful spot to see nature. Got to see turtles, beavers and birds up close. The property owners are amazing, they've got everything set up for you. And anything you may need, it's probably there. If not you can ask and they'll happily assist. The inside was gorgeous, bed was super comfortable. They had lots of activities to do, including: movies, card games, board games and puzzles. Truly a relaxing weekend getaway.

Summary: We had a great time. The cottage was amazing, had everything we needed plus more! Close to Westport and the local winery. The cottage was spacious and so clean and well layed out. We loved sitting by the fire pit and watching all the nature. They also had a canoe for our use and paddle boards. The beach ⛱️ in Westport was great for swimming and good shopping in town. Great TV too for rainy days! We would love to go back and stay longer!!
