There are also opportunities for hill walking, cycling on forest tracks, pony trekking, fishing, skiing or enjoying splendid walks from the doorstep. Visit Carrbridge, home to the famous Landmark Centre, where visitors can enjoy various outdoor activities. The stunning beaches of the Moray Coast also make a good day trip. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

Summary: My husband and I have just returned from a week at this stunning cottage. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard. Fiona had left wine chocolate’s and fresh flowers. There are plenty of really lovely walks. Dufftown is 15 min drive and is gorgeous. The people are so nice butcher coop etc. The best bit for us was the garden sitting listening to the farm animals and the birds singing was amazing. We booked for next year before we left. Summary: The cottage was very clean, very comfortable and very well fitted out. The provision of milk, fruit, tea and coffee, wine and chocolates was a nice touch and not found elsewhere where we have stayed before. The welcome pack provided was very detailed and informative. We celebrated our wedding anniversary during our stay and were very pleased with the arrangements. We enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it. Summary: The cottage is very nice and in a lovely location. Easy off-road parking. Very spacious cottage and a really nice big enclosed garden. South facing patio - a real sun-trap.

Summary: Had a wonderful week, cottage was comfy, cosy & super clean. Kitchen had everything we needed, lovely welcome pack upon arrival. Its located in a quiet rural setting which suited us. Dufftown is nearest village, about 20 minutes drive which had nice coffee shops & co-op for topping up supplies. Distllaries close by as was Dufftown Golf Course which my partner said was very good! The Croft Inn gave us a warm welcome & tasty food ( it does shut over the winter though). Would recommend cottage for a rural break to enjoy the beautiful Highlands. Many thanks Fiona.
