Summary: We never knew this place existed but we will definitely be back. If you are looking a place to get away from it all and relax, then this is the place to be. Warm, spacious, beautiful, lovely grounds and in winter the huge fireplace. You can explore the Wairarapa coast or just relax in front of the fire.

Summary: A delightful stay, with gracious hosts. However, the property was not clearly or accurately described - be aware that this is the attached guest wing of the host’s residence. Lovely gardens.

Summary: We had a lovely relaxing stay here. Beautiful historic house, very comfy bed and Jacqui was the friendly lovely host. Only thing we missed was any wifi and bad internet connectivity was hard to connect with family & friends. If there was wifi I’ve give it 5/5.

Summary: Stayed her for two nights mid-week as a mini-break from Wellington for our wedding anniversary. It was fantastic. Jacqui had the fire lit for us when we arrived and lit it early both mornings, which was great as it was a bit colder than we expected for mid-December. Jacqui also told us about the history of the house and showed us old photos, which we really enjoyed. And her ginger loaf was delicious!

Summary: Greeted by Jacqui with fresh coffee and ginger cake. The fire was roaring and there were fresh flowers in each of the rooms we had. Huge bedroom, large bathroom with claw foot bath and lovely lounge with heaps of reading material and views across the farm to the mountains. Cooked breakfast each morning was delicious. Situated on the way to Cape Palliser with the lighthouse, seals and seafood. Will come again as exceeded our expectations.
