NEWLY REFURBISHED. Originally a Woolshed in Martinborough's picturesque Dry River Valley, it has been converted with a modern contemporary feel inside while retaining its original façade outside. With open plan living and gorgeous bedrooms there is a feeling of space and tranquility, all while enjoying the warmth of a cosy woodburner fire.
Dry River Retreat is a relaxing getaway - offering the best of both worlds, it is a uniquely serene and tranquil retreat with the feeling of being a world away and yet less than 10 minutes drive to the Martinborough village.
It offers 3 bedrooms (Two with King beds and One on the Mezzanine Floor with a SuperKing split into 2 singles unless requested to be joint), a full scale kitchen, bathroom, laundry, beautiful gardens and large private outdoor living with uninterrupted views down the spectacular valley and a wonderful Spa Pool to relax and enjoy it all.

Summary: Absolutely beautifully done. Excellent location very relaxing, although a little bit out of town. Cleanest place I’ve stayed in . Well done to the cleaner. Maybe could wash the top of black rubbish bin at door . Not complaining at all just probably an over site that’s all. Would defiantly recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet retreat.

Summary: Great renovation in beautiful gardens (magnolia tree in bloom). Comfy beds and great shower pressure. Plenty of firewood and lovely to have a spa in the evening. One thing, if you want to watch Sky Sports, you’ll need a SkyGo log-in for the app on The Smart TV (not a separate decoder)

Summary: We absolutely loved this place! It is located about 10-15 mins out of Martinborough on a very quiet street in an idyllic and private setting. We enjoyed the seclusion of the property and spent each night sitting in the hot tub under the stars. This old wool shed has been been beautifully renovated balancing maintaining the character of the property with modern necessities - it had really nice design touches. There is no cell coverage but impressively very fast wifi. No doubt we will stay there again. It was such a wonderful location when you want to escape the hustle and bustle.

Summary: Jenny’s place was amazing. It had everything we could have wanted for a relaxing weekend away from the city. The spa pool was incredible. Felt you you were away from everything but only a short drive into town. Highly recommend 😁
