The Old Explorers is well placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park, both on foot and by car. Summary: Beautiful flat, good quality equipment and utensils. Although the weather didn't put any effort in, we had a really good break in and around Pateley Bridge and it was lovely to come back to our comfy flat. Very importantly comfy bed and good quality bedding. And last but not least lovely friendly helpful landlords. We will be returning soon, when the sun comes out! Yes it is up two flights of stairs, but there is a little corridor between them for our Norfolk bungalow legs to recover!
