Kedleston Hall and the spectacular scenery of Dove Dale are both within 6 miles, and Ashbourne’s shops, inns and activities are within 10 minutes’ drive. Summary: Cottage absolutely fine for a couple but bit of a squeeze for 4, especially if you get wet weather and stay in . Good location for walks .

Summary: A wonderful week spent in the company of our new young German shepherd in a delightful dog friendly house and amazing garden. Would recommend this property without any hesitation. Summary: We were a party of two adults and two children, aged 4 and 6. We found the Garden House to be a perfect little hideaway. In a quiet area, with outside space for the kids to run around. It's small but extremely cosy and absolutely fine for a base to get out and about in the local area. It has everything you need and was lovely to have the little extras you don't always get when renting, like soap, washing up liquid, loo roll etc.
