Positive: Rose had left us a super welcome pack with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, Bakewell tart, eggs, butter, bread, wine, ale and more. The property was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of really useful information in the property of what to see and do locally and OS maps of the area, along with inspiring coffee table books. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. There is so much to do here, all within a short drive.

Positive: Would highly recommend Lilimae Barn, we had a wonderful stay here with our 2 children and booked it as it was near to Alton towers. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and ideal for us all. We’ll definitely be back!

Positive: Everything about our stay was perfect. We entered into a lovely welcoming warm place as the underfloor heating was on. Upstairs in the living area we were very impressed with the way this barn has been cleverly and beautifully transformed into a very modern space with wood floors and top quality fittings. The host had left us a welcome letter and lovely goodie box of local treats plus milk, butter and bread. We really enjoyed our stay in Lilimae barn as it was a pleasure just to be home and chill. It was smart, clean, comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. We loved sitting at the breakfast bar and looking out on the village as we had our breakfast. The bedrooms had comfortable beds, mirrors in the wardrobe, plenty of pillows and top quality bedding. The quaint village of Hognaston has a village pub and was only a short drive to Carsington Waters visitors centre and Ashbourne. We visited the lovely Peak District towns of Buxton with its Opera House and Bakewell. We would definitely recommend a stay here and will be back.
