Positive: Amazing property with amazing views. Really nice facilities. The kids loved a bubble bath out in the open! It was a really relaxing break.

Negative: Only the space around the pull out bed was a bit tricky. But there was nothing we didn’t like!

Positive: A superb hut nestled in the exmoor countryside, the accommodation was perfect. Everything has been thought .of, the owners are very helpful and friendly. Dunster is a very picturesque village close by and the Tarr steps are worth visiting. We would highly recommend this excellent accommodation and hope to stay again.

Positive: Very classy and well done up inside, went when it was freezing but the log burner heats it up so quick Everything you need to cook Comfy bed and telly Beautiful view with some cute sheep Bathroom is clean and warm

Negative: Ran out of hot water for the bath when it was only half full but we made do

Positive: Rather unusual but we knew that before going. The hut was equipped with everything we needed although rather cramped. Good location if you like it very quiet but the road to the property is just 1 car width. I strongly suggest approaching from Huntscott direction and look for the children’s sign which can’t be seen from the other direction. The Red Oaks sign can be easily missed.

Negative: Using the remote toilet in the night was a drawback. Also for the person sleeping by the wall, getting out to go to the toilet in the night without waking the other person is nigh impossible. If the hut was 18 inches wider and longer it would have solved the bed problem and also been less cramped.

Summary: Ok for s 2-night stay but no longer for us.
