Our portugal apt is very much Loved and cared for .Its very bright modern and very clean situated on the 2nd floor of a private condominium Monte Anastacia Albardeira lagos western portugal
The apartment sleeps 4. Set in beautiful well kept mature gardens with swimming pool, tennis court with private parking .
All rooms have beautiful uninterrupted sea views,Free wifi ,private parking & 4 Private sun beds situated around the pool area so no early morning dash 😃
Take a 5 min stroll down a hill to Lagos de marina where you can sit at the cafe bars ,eating ,drinking or just watching he world go by or take a boat trips to the see the dolphins or grotto & caves .
It's a just 10 minute stroll to the beach of meia Praia a beautiful white long and wide ,plenty of room for everyone .
The apt is in a secure complex entered via remote electronic gates with own private parking . Stair up to other floors or you can use the lift.
The apartment has a sunny south facing terrace with beautiful views of beach & Lagos town.It also has a spacious lounge with Patio doors leading out on to the terrace with a table & 4 chairs for alfresco dining or just having a drink watching the sunset. The view is amazing .
In the lounge are 2 sofas (1 a bed settee ) You can access the terrace through the patio door in the lounge.
Tv ,video ,wifi in all rooms.coffee tables , console tables & soft finishing .
The kitchen also opens directly on to the terrace & is fully fitted with all modern appliances large fridge / freezer , microwave + sandwich maker + iron & ironing , board. Lots of wine glasses , cups , plates , pots pans everything you could possible need for your stay. I also provide tea towels.
The bedroom has a queen sized large bed, fitted wardrobes and bedside tables with lamps & Ceiling fan . With full length patio doors and Juliet balcony also looking out to sea and the gardens and pool area.All bedding provided . Duvet for winter stays.
The bathroom has a modem high gloss white floating sink with draws toilet, jacuzzi bath and shower . Tall high close floor standing cabinet one Bath and hand Towel per person supplied.
Beaches In Lagos:
In Lagos, there are several lovely beaches to visit. Meia Praia, a 4km sandy beach only a few minutes from the apartment, offers several water sport facilities, it is ideal for windsurfing and surfing. All along Meia Praia beach, there are many beach bars where visitors can enjoy evening meals or cocktails. Praia da Dona Ana, Praia do Camilo and Porto de Mós, are other popular beaches located 5 minutes drive from the apartment, also worth visiting.
Activities : Over the past years, the western Algarve has become an international destination for many golfers and holidaymakers. There is a wide selection of golf courses around Lagos. Palmares, an 18 0hole golf course is only 2 minutes drive from the apartment. Boavista and Parque da Floresta Golf courses are other alterno
atives only a few minutes drive. Water sport activities can be found in several beaches and boat trips from the Lagos Marina can be bought at good prices. Water Parks such as, Slide and Splash and Big One are only 30 minutes drive and are excellent for the children. Lagos Zoo is only 15 minutes drive inland and the Zoomarine, 35 minutes drive east, is definitively worth visiting. Trips to the water parks can be booked on marina for those who do not wish to drive.
Marina and Lagos Town : The marina is only a 5 minute stroll from the apartment were you can enjoy a cocktail have an evening meal, or take a boat trip. The town centre is only 5 minutes walk from the marina along a tree lined esplanade. The centre of Lagos has a very friendly atmosphere with its MANY fine restaurants, set on cobble streets, where visitors can enjoy a lovely meals or watch the world goes by. There are a great variety of shops which are nice to browse around. Lagos being a very historical town has lovely churches,squares and museums.

Summary: We had a great stay at this apartment. The apartment was lovely - well-stocked, comfortable and clean. The view is amazing and the pool area is really lovely with beautiful gardens that we found very relaxing - especially as it was never overly busy (we stayed end of August to early September). The private parking was also a bonus. I self-catered and the kitchen facilities were great with a very good quality oven and hob (the best I have had in Portugal). I can't fault anything and Gail was so helpful and responsive on the lead up to our holiday. As everything went so smoothly with checking in and the apartment in general, we didn't need to contact her for anything during our stay. I'm sure we will book again as the location and apartment were brilliant, very quiet but just a short walk into the bustle of Lagos so the best of both worlds! We very much recommend this fantastic apartment :)

Summary: A fantastic apartment that has absolutely everything you could wish for and is like home from home. Stunning views, very well equipped, great location set in a beautiful complex with a gorgeous swimming pool and lovely gardens and also a tennis court. Summary: This was our first trip to Portugal and we had a fabulous holiday! Our host Gail made our experience wonderful! She responded quickly to any inquiry we had and helped us plan our trip by giving us great recommendations and suggestions for places to dine and visit. Our accommodations were wonderful with everything we needed to be comfortable. We were just off the beaten path, but still close to everything, which is exactly what we wanted. We will definitely visit again!

Summary: A very well maintained and comfortable apartment, within an easy stroll to the marina and old town but far enough away from the noise of restaurants and bars. The building, grounds and pool area are very well maintained Rooms are generous in size, impeccably clean, and have unobstructed south facing views of the Mediterranean. This apartment has everything you’ll need and feels like a home, not a soulless rental. Perfect for longer stays - thank you Gail!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lagos, and this apartment was an excellent base for us (couple in our early 50's). The walk down into town & then back up was no problem. The apartment was spotless & well-maintained. View from the balcony was great (which we now miss). Swimming pool was ideal & grounds to relax in perfect. Turn right out of gates for short walk to beach (taking you over train track). We had great communication from Gail - from the time we booked right through to the end of our stay. Loads of restaurants to visit, one to recommend is Onda Norte. Also, Quay Bar & Bistro and Oasis on the Marina side. Days out: Silves, Sagres & a visit to Olhao where you can get a ferry boat to Farol (pop into Tavira before heading back). We also enjoyed the Crazy golf in Lagos, but watch out for the 'frogs' :) Would highly recommend this apartment, can't wait until our next visit.

Summary: My first happy place is my home in Canada. My second happy place is Lagos, Portugal, and when you stay at Gail and Neil's apartment, it's even better. We spent a month there and we were extremely comfortable, very pleased with the cleanliness and how nicely it was decorated. It has all of the conveniences of home. The view of the ocean is gorgeous and unobstructed. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get, beautiful surroundings. It's very handy to walking into town to eat at the numerous delicious restaurants or picking up fresh seafood and vegetables at the markets for dinner. It was a pleasure dealing with Gail while arranging our stay. She is extremely efficient, gets back to you quickly, communicates well and she genuinely cares. We would recommend this apartment in a heartbeat and are planning on staying there again. Can't wait to return. Rose and Mac

Summary: My wife and I have just returned from a 10 day stay at Gail and Neils apartment and must say that it is one of the best equipped and presented we have so far encountered.All areas are comfortable and homely and provide everything you could wish for to make the perfect holiday break.The balcony receives the sun from early morning until late afternoon and has a spectacular sea view.The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious while the bedroom has a kingsize bed and plenty of wardrobe space.Its a ten minute walk to the Marina which has a good selection of bars and restaurants and a further five minutes over the bridge to the beautiful town of Lagos where you will find some of the best restaurants in the whole of the Algarve.We would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in a peaceful setting in the loveliest part of the Algarve.

Summary: The apartment is tastefully decorated and immaculately presented. Very well equipped and had everything we needed for us and our two year old, even a DVD of In the night garden! Views from the apartment were beautiful and the balcony got lots of lovely sunshine. The grounds were also immaculate; the pool, gardens and tennis courts kept us all happy. The other residents were very friendly and helpful. Nice walk to the Marina and beaches were plentiful and very clean. Lots of lovely restaurants to try, the seafood and steak were amazing. Wine was lovely and so reasonable. Gail was brilliant in communicating all the information we needed by phone, email and the folder in the apartment, couldn't fault any part of the holiday apart from coming home :-( Will definitely be returning to the apartment again. Thanks again :-)

Summary: A wonderfully modern, spacious, spotlessly clean apartment with absolutely stunning views and everything you could possibly wish for. The gardens and the pool were lovely, clean and very well kept. Gail was very helpful with everything and provided lots of useful information about restaurants, transfers, car hire etc. We would recommend this apartment to family and friends without hesitation and are hoping to return very soon.
