Positive: we really loved our stay here. the place is a bit dated and the facilities are quite simple, but it has a certain charm - and everything was exceptionally clean. the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Negative: the restaurant was unfortunately still closed, which we didn’t know when we booked. however, the breakfast that was offered instead was good.

Positive: Good hotel for a shorter stay. Friendly and helpful personnel, helped us when planning visiting the puffins. PUFFINS!

Negative: Breakfast was on the simpeler side, however this was fully logical as there were only 2 rooms booked during this low season. For 2 booked rooms, I personally would have even have prepared less breakfast so they still get a very big thumbs up from me.

Positive: such a beautiful drive to the hotel. staff was incredibly kind and breakfast was great. wifi unfortunately didn’t reach our room but it didn’t impend on our stay.

Positive: Very clean - good mattresses - very good breakfast with oatmeal, fruit, pancakes and boiled eggs - very helpful guests. If everyone is respectful, then the thin walls will not be a problem. Good value for your money, considering the remote location. This part of Iceland is full of wonders. Worth your while!
