Summary: We stayed in 6 different hotels/motels/cabins/resorts during our “Tour of Utah”. Zion Cliff Lodge was THE best. Driving into the town from the south, we were a little worried about what we were getting into. Once we saw the lodge, we fell in love with it. It is so well built and well designed. The owners take great pride in what they have built. It was immaculate, clean and cute. It had everything we needed/wanted. We played cornhole and basketball outside for a while. There are 24/7 snacks and drinks. There is even a bar. I used the beautiful balcony in the evening while looking out at the cliffs. The bathrooms are shared, but there were no guests that we had to share with. The rainfall shower head was a hit with our kids. Stay here! You won’t regret it.

Summary: Unique hotel, felt more like a bed and breakfast. The room was huge and very clean. A little awkward to have a shared bathroom in the hall just off the main lobby. The hosts had a great spread for breakfast and snacks as well as wine and beer for purchase. The downside was there wasn’t any staff present for a majority of our stay. The hotel was much farther from Zion and stores/restaurants than we expected as well.

Summary: Got way more value than expected. Shem and Lisa have really gone above and beyond on their lodge. The room size was large, parking was convenient, the view from the upper patio/deck at both sunrise and sunset was outstanding. Shem and Lisa go out of their way to make you feel welcome. At just under 45 minutes from Zion national park, this place has it all and I look forward to my next trip to the area so I can have another stay here.
