Positive: We had a memorable stay in Zamek Reszel hotel that will remain with us for life. It was a dream coming true. Rooms were big, comfortable, very clean and stylish. We visited all parts of the castle. Above all staff were extremely kind and friendly and went to great length to help us and I can not express enough gratitude.

Positive: It was tremendous fun to stay in a real castle. Everything was authentic from the well in the courtyard to the high tower and the dungeons with their spiral staircases. The staff were also wonderful….nothing was too much trouble! The bar was well stocked and the breakfasts and restaurant food in general were first class. The rooms were big and the beds comfortable.

Negative: Though this was not at all a problem for us, the hotel is only suitable for able bodied people due to the lack of lifts and uneven cobble stones. Younger children would need to be carefully supervised, but it would be great fun for older children.

Summary: An authentic medieval castle experience!

Positive: There is something exciting about staying in a castle. The team were welcoming and we thought the food in the restaurant was delicious. The torture chamber is a bit gruesome.
