Deep-cleaned and private. We use an electrostatic disinfecting sprayer in our cottage and clean each touch point and surface with disinfecting products. All laundry is washed in hot water using sensitive skin products.
Entirely fenced-in property.
Deep cleaned, private, blissful, zen-like, peaceful cottage with an outdoor fire pit and grill, located in the beautiful historic Beaufort Downtown area.
A queen bed in the master bedroom and a queen-sized sleeper couch in the common area, along with a kitchen full of all cooking amenities, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, refrig/freezer and microwave and an on-premises washer/dryer make this the perfect long or short-term getaway.
We provide coffee bean grinder, a Cuisinart coffeemaker, French press and an espresso/cappuccino machine for your coffee drinking pleasure. Our kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, cups, plates, silverware, sharp carving and other knives, a full spice rack, bottles of infused olive oil and balsamic vinegar, a brita pitcher, and other sundry amenities. We provide seasoned firewood for the firepit and a gas grill, along with 4 bikes and locks.
Guests may rent a golf cart from local rental companies to use in the downtown, if so desired. Entry to the house is via a digital keypad. The code will be provided to guest the morning of check-in
15 minutes to Parris Island and Hunting Beach State Park. 2 bicycles await you to roam around town or ride the beautiful 11 mile Spanish Moss Trail. Walk to restaurants, boutiques, museums, houses of worship and the marina all while enjoying the gorgeous architecture and Spanish Moss hanging from the Live Oak trees that line the streets.
Dogs (max 2) are allowed. There is a $75 pet fee per pet, per stay.

Summary: Our cottage was well located within walking distance of Bay Street. Unfortunately, it rained for most of our stay. Thankfully, the cozy cottage stayed dry and had all the amenities necessary to keep us comfortable. Great location for dogs. It’s not easy finding fully fenced in outdoor space.

Summary: The name fit the accommodations. It was a perfect location for our stay in Beaufort. The accommodations were very welcoming and just what we were looking for.Denise provided easy instructions for checking in and out. She was very prompt when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cottage.It is a great place for a couple to spend a short getaway.

Summary: We loved the cottage and the location. Just a short walk to the town which has some great restaurants and shops. Only an hour away from Savannah and Edisto Beach. Denise, the host, was very nice. If we come that way again I would stay here!!

Summary: Denise’s “Sanctuary Cottage” was my refuge from Hurricane Helene. It was such a bright spot for me after leaving the wreckage in Augusta Georgia. The cottage was perfectly appointed with everything I could possibly need!!f I had my small dog with me, we walked to the marina and the downtown of Beaufort.everyday. We had the best time!! I can’t wait to visit again!!
