Summary: Rooms was clean Could do with a update chairs/carpet Bed was very comfortable Breakfast was lovely Staff very friendly

Summary: The stay was pleasant enough, there was an issue with the receptionist, we booked and paid for breakfast which wasn’t on the hotel reservation, but it was on the booking form/email. This was soon sorted out by the lovely hotel manager. There was an unpleasant odour in the bedroom but we kept the window open.

Summary: Convenient for driving on the A1 back from Scotland to London. Room was clean and bed linen white and fresh. Decent value and friendly welcome on check in. Didn’t stay for breakfast.

Summary: Hotel had a campaign to be eco-friendly. It was quiet and we had a good night's sleep after a long day of travel. Breakfast was good too. Thank you to all the staff.

Summary: Crossroads comparisons aside if they painted it silver and added a few spherical additions it could easily pass for a space station!! My son commented on it looking like his secondary school, which it did.We arrived on a very wet and blustery day and were concerned re room temperature due to the spurs coming away from the Reception. We neednt have worried as heating very efficientChosen for price and reported cleanliness. Agree with others comments such as good value and very clean. Also staff very friendly and wonderful food. The £10 breakfast kept us going all day, so that is again recommended as are the evening meals and a very good pint of John Smiths.Disappointed the pool was being refurbished. Having said that we had been wet through all day due to the weather!
