Positive: The cabin was exceptional. Very clean and smelt lovely! The bed and pillows were spotless and comfy. There was everything there for us - shampoo and conditioner, hand soap and there was everything we needed in the kitchen - even kitchen roll! There was milk and wine in the fridge too! Very relaxing looking out at the water and watching the birds fishing!

Negative: If you have mobility problems (as my husband does) there are some steps, a metal "bridge" then a very steep metal walkway across the water. He did manage but it was difficult for him. It was worth it though - we had a great stay.

Positive: The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The lodge was spotlessly clean and smelled lovely. All furnishings were comfortable and the interior decorating was perfect. Everything you could want or think of was already there for you. The fact that the lodge was also floating on the water just rounded it off.

Negative: There was absolutely nothing that could have made this holiday any better. Unless you could control the British weather. 🫣
