Positive: Host was very friendly and accommodating. We needed to check in late evening and this was fine. There was plenty of parking in a secure area. It was quiet and the views were stunning. Room was comfortable with everything you needed. Bathroom was small but functional. Breakfast was great with a good choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Full English was beautifully cooked and filling. A good choice of items on the breakfast menu. The host had a very well behaved dog who was lovely. There is a busy pub just a 5 minute walk away where the food on offer is excellent 👌

Positive: A traditional old farmhouse that was warm and cosy . We loved the view from our bedroom it was beautiful and loved our room . Breakfast had lots of choice and it was lovely . Avril cooked my husband a lovely veggie breakfast with plenty . We were also given fresh melon and strawberries , fruit juice , we felt very well looked after . Yeah it’s a bit in the wilds , maybe ? Have to say the drive from Hexham to West Woodburn was beautiful . Thankyou for sharing your beautiful home and look forward to visiting soon ! If you have space ! .

Negative: It rained a lot driving from Blackpool to West Woodburn so spoiled the beautiful views a little . We went to Beamish the next day so got to do it again and it was dry so can’t complain .
