Positive: We really enjoyed our stay here, both for the warmth and convenience of the pub - great food and friendly company - and the quiet and comfortable accommodation, which is in a separate building just over the road. Our room was lovely, with a comfy bed and huge bathroom. Lots of free parking, and the location is great, very central for the Peak District sights.

Negative: Nothing - it was all great.

Positive: What a lovely stay in an absolutely beautiful location. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so attentive and friendly. Special shout out to Sam who made us feel very welcome, he is a true asset to the team. The food here was amazing. Great value for money, portion sizes are very generous and the home-made chips were the best we’ve ever had. The pub was busy for the majority of our stay, plenty of walkers passing through and even locals who were all very friendly. Plenty of parking at the back of the pub. The room we stayed in was called Manifold. It is an upstairs room. It was a cosy room with plenty of storage.The bed was very comfortable, extra pillows in the cupboard on offer if needed. We had a fabulous time here and we are already talking about coming back 🤩

Negative: The room did not have a bath as advertised. There was a very small cubicle shower instead. TV is very small.

Negative: We booked a room for 2 nights. The first night, the room was very warm. And it was difficult to sleep. Hardly any airflow. This was on the first floor level. Slight adjustments to the room to improve room temperature, and this would have made all the difference.
