Summary: How disappointing. We stayed here approximately eight years ago when the cost was half the price, and while I expected to pay more this time, the experience certainly wasn’t worth what we paid. In my opinion, the stay was only worth around £55. We are military so used to the Army Barracks but this is ridiculous. The front desk staff were rude and unwelcoming, which made for a poor first impression. The hotel itself is looking tired and would benefit from a fresh coat of paint and a thorough carpet clean. Breakfast was also disappointing. At 8:30 a.m., the food was already being put away, which is far too early for guests who want a relaxed morning. The staff appeared unprofessional, adding to what was an overall disappointing experience.

Summary: Every thing was fine, very good breakfast and the dinner included hover the weather was vey hit and the room was but there was no arrangement of cooking even they don’t provide the fans that makes this location a bit difficult for the hot weather.

Summary: I recently stayed here for a training event. The facilities were generally ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. Some parts of the property do feel a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The main issue I had was with the shower in my room, which had no cold water at all and was boiling hot. Unfortunately, I only discovered this in the morning, so there wasn’t really time for it to be fixed before I had to leave.

Summary: They should stick to organising conferences. Stopped off for a good night sleep on my trip from from Edinburgh to Southampton and was woken up by a fire alarm at 0730. When I asked for an explanation a rude man simply pointed out that someone had showered without closing the door and challenged why I didn’t evacuate. When I said I did and nobody else had he simply blanked me. The appropriate response should have been an apology first of all. I suppose customer service is not one of trainings delivered here. Never again!!!
