Summary: I stayed at Yallambee Cottage Mulwala with my dad. We thought it was paradise. Murray River flowing 60m from back door. John the owner is such a lovely person. He is very welcoming and friendly. I can't wait to come and stay again. Sitting on the back porch watching the birds was so relaxing. Just a tip for others, if you have trouble finding the entrance drive up the Rd another 1km or so. You will see the gate and a rather large sign at the entrance. Google maps took me to the wrong location on the road. Highly recommended stay if you like country style cottages in the tranquil bush 8min from town.

Summary: A quiet place, just above a sizeable anabranch of the nearby Murray. Cold in mid-winter, but once we worked out how to keep the fire going continuously with the unlimited supply of redgum we were set. The only sounds were of the plentiful birdlife. Very relaxing.
