Positive: At the crossroads of cozy and classic, this country manor (plus amazing yurts) is a well run establishment, totally on brand as a charming country bed and breakfast. Our room was simple, exceptionally clean and comfortable with an excellent adjoining bathroom and shower. Our hosts Katherine and Phil were hospitable and the breakfasts were well prepared with accommodations for our dietary preferences. The other guests were friendly and breakfast was leisurely enjoyed, so much so it was hard to just get on with the day. The Finger Lakes have such beautiful homes, and lakefront properties, and it was so fun to stay here, in one of them. Everyone - hosts, staff, dogs and sweet horse made me feel welcome.

Negative: Not much - I didn't notice the outlets by the bed until the last day.

Positive: It was great we stayed in the Yurt so we had bagels, yogurt, fruit, pastries, milk, juice, cream cheese, cheese, and eggs. We did have to fix our own breakfast but that was fine.

Negative: We loved everything. WE just got bad weather so it was a bumper. We will hopefully come back.

Summary: The Yurt was so cozy and clean. I love it. It was very spacious but had a great cozy feeling.

Positive: Great host, the breakfast was nice. Thebathroom was super clean. The house is historical and beautiful. we enjoyed riding the bicycle and watching the horses.

Negative: The room was a bit dusty.

Positive: Gorgeous rural property and manor, a few minutes walk to the lakefront with a boathouse, dock and space to eat and enjoy the sunset. Horses to see and bikes to borrow. Cozy library with lots of books and maps of local area. Vegetarian friendly breakfast and lovely guests.

Positive: Friendly staff, good central location, clean, interesting, comfortable, accommodating, great food, nice shower, cool rooms (good a/c), helpful recommendations, very organized and great communication

Negative: Water is weedy, hard to swim in. Maybe get a paddle boat and/or larger floatation toys to help get you away from weedy shore? Bed was bouncy (moved a lot when other person moved) and a bit too firm.

Summary: Very comfy, accommodating, tasty, interesting, friendly long weekend. Would definitely recommend! Thanks again!!

My partner and i loved our stay here - huge shout out to Catherine and Phil and the rest of the team for a hugely enjoyable stay. P.S. - if you do book here be sure to use the lake house facilities. There's a BBQ, inflatables, sunloungers etc - enough for a lazy day's activities
