Positive: Good location and a good setup meeting our needs (we were trail riding motorcycles so had our two vans parked outside the property)

Negative: The fixtures and fittings are very tired and in need of updating. Cleanliness was good but we found the kitchen drawers and cutlery tray to be less than clean, so we cleaned them properly. They are, however, old and tired and so should be replaced. Also, some items fell apart when we used them! The knobs on the shower were not properly attached so could (and did) become detached. Ditto for the toilet roll holder, which is barely attached to the wall. A relatively small expenditure would go a long way to improving the cabin. Lastly, there was no information pack on arrival so we struggled a bit with the heating / hot water and the WiFi. A printed sheet of information would be very helpful.

Positive: Everything was lovely and clean, the area was absolutely stunning too. It wasn't too far from all the areas we wanted to visit, but it still had the feel of being in the middle of a very picturesque nowhere.

Negative: As it is stated in the information the road to get to the accommodation isn't ideal, very narrow stoney roads. You do just have to take it very slow for the last stretch. We went in a simple ford focus and was fine taking our time, but some cars would struggle.

Positive: The cabin was spacious and it had everything that we needed for a short stay. It was in a lovely location. In the car, it wasn't too far from the nearest town.

Negative: The cabin was down a farm track and it was tricky to drive down in a 'normal' car. It put us off going back and forth throughout the day.

Positive: Everything was perfect. It was exactly what we wanted. We had everything we needed, the location was beautiful and peaceful, the rustic cosy cabin was lovely. I feel that some previous reviews left were unfair, it is exactly what it is, a rustic cabin, it was beautiful inside and out, it has its little quirks but that is what we wanted. We were after the Inside/ outside experience!

Negative: Can't say there was anything we didn't like !
